Meaningful January- Slowing Down
It’s mid-January, and for the first time in a while, it finally feels like things have slowed down a little. After the last three busy months, this season feels like a gentle exhale.
This month, our focus has been on intentionally slowing our daily lives. For us, that means slow shopping—bringing you items chosen with intention. Vintage pieces that encourage rest, connection, and comfort during what we’re calling a Meaningful January.
Think teacups meant to be used, not just displayed. Cozy vintage blankets to curl up with. The coolest cups for “special little drinks.” Write a letter. Play a board game. Work on a puzzle with your partner. Read a short book. Go for a walk.
These things sound simple, but sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of livin’ life that we forget to actually live it. January feels like an invitation to do just that—to enjoy the slow and gentle side of life for a bit.
At the shop, our January words are slow, meaningful, cozy, and warm. That means thoughtfully curated pieces that might help you slow down. Pieces that feel meaningful (and in our book, they all can be) and spaces that give you that cozy, warm feeling the moment you step inside.
And honestly, nothing makes you slow down quite like a vintage record. Put one on. Make a fun drink in a fun cup. Sit for a while. Slow down.
It will all still be there when you’re ready.
